Teaser Tuesday

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

“Is it real?” a scabby boy blurted out, unable to contain himself any longer.
The wing of the story-teller unfolded and gave a single beat before furling itself again inside the cloak.

I love that! You have a feeling it's going to go one way, and then that wing shows up, and completely throws you.

Meanwhile, here's mine.

Just wanted to pop back and say I'm glad you enjoyed the teaser so much. Thanks for the "best" rating! Made me happy that people got a smile out of it. Lochdubh is a fun location with a lot of nutty characters.

Hey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definitely be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment. Thanks for sharing.
